Questions about vibe coded apps
Is Lovable production ready?
It can get a working app in front of customers, but it isn’t production ready on its own. The security rules, error handling, backups, and monitoring usually need work first, and that’s what we add. The same goes for Replit and Base44.
Are vibe coded apps safe?
Not by default. AI tools write code that works on the happy path and often skips the checks that keep data private. A code audit finds the gaps, and then we close them.
Is our Supabase row level security set up correctly?
If you’re not sure, it needs a look. When row level security is off or too broad, anyone with your app’s public key can read or change your data. Supabase only turns it on automatically for tables made in its dashboard, not for ones an AI tool creates in code. We check every table’s policies.
What do Supabase's recent security changes mean for our app?
Two things to plan for. Supabase is making API access opt-in, so a new table needs an explicit grant before your app can reach it, and a table an AI tool adds may fail with a permission error until it has one. A grant still doesn’t protect your rows; row level security does. And the old anon and service_role keys are being replaced by publishable and secret keys, with the old ones removed in late 2026. We can make both changes without breaking your app.
